E-Waste Management Service
According to the UN’s Global E-waste Monitor 2020, more than 53 million metric tons of electrical and electronic waste was generated worldwide in 2019. E-waste is posing a great threat to human health as well as the environment, so it’s time to take action before it’s too late.
The World Health Organization reports that exposure to certain chemicals used in electronics can lead to cancer, infertility, brain damage, and other lifelong health problems.
With the alarming rise in e-waste, and its harmful impact on our lives as well as the environment, e-waste management has become the need of the hour.
At GreenTek Reman, we understand the seriousness of this matter and envisage providing our clients with holistic management plans to ensure all their e-waste management needs and goals are fulfilled.
GreenTek Reman Ltd. has all the necessary authorization from the appropriate governmental agencies for the processing facility and ensures proper recycling and disposal of e-waste. Greentek has the “R2v3 certificate” that makes us proudly stand among top 10 e-waste management companies in the country.
General Scheme of Collection
We Greentek Reman Pvt Ltd being refurbisher of used electrical and electronic goods and dismantler of e-waste material, we always give priority to compliance with all the e-waste management norms and laws and follow all regulations amended time to time by government authorities related to e-waste management
We plan to collect the e-waste of our products (sold in refurbished category) in the following ways:
- Buy Back Schemes: We offer to buy back the old and used product (e-waste) from our customers at fairly competitive prices.
- Cash Back Schemes: We offer to give cash back to the customers to encourage them to bring their old and used product (e-waste).
- Collection Centers/Points: We also offer our customers the option to directly send their used/EOL products to our collection centers. Our collection centre list is available on our website.
- E-Mails: We can create awareness among customers and help them to understand the importance of recycling used/end of life products through educational emails.
These are the ways in which we plan to bring back used products from our customers after the end of life.
Our Modes of Collection
Our team collects E-waste from collections centers and end consumers, and all the dismantling work is done in our in-house dismantling unit (registered with UPPCB for management and dismantling/disposal of all e-waste). Further, all the recycling processes are done in an environmentally sound manner by our recycler M/s. Hayat E-Recyclers Pvt Ltd with whom we have an agreement.
Our Plant/facility is situated at B 2/12, Industrial Area, Site B, Surajpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, 201308, and our corporate office is situated at C-129, 2nd floor, Naraina Industrial Area, Phase – 1, New Delhi – 110028
Keeping in view our sales volume, generation of e-waste, our future e-waste targets, and our expansion plan we have decided to follow these mechanisms in our organization to collect e-waste.
- If any customer wants to handover the old product, they can easily reach out to any one of our Collection centers and give the EOL product directly or can call on our Toll-Free Number for Suggestion / Clarification as well as for arranging a pick up from our side (toll-free number and collection center list are available on our website).
- We are selling/operating all over in India, and we shall use our reverse logistics partner’s (Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd & Prashar Road Carrier (P)Ltd.) facility for the collection of e-waste from end consumers.
